Ad Paid links & important information about these products
Ad / advertising disclosure: links marked 'Ad' are paid affiliate links - we earn a commission if you buy an evaluation through them; this can affect which firms are listed, not the terms you receive. What this page is: a factual comparison of published fees and rules, collected from at least two public sources on the date shown and cross-checked; per-field rankings are arithmetic over the tracked set (see Methodology). It is not a recommendation or opinion about whether you should buy any evaluation, and it is not financial advice. What these products are: prop-firm 'challenges' are paid evaluations on simulated accounts; any later 'funded' stage is a contractual profit share from the firm, not an investment return; most participants do not pass; fees are generally non-refundable. The firms listed are not authorised or supervised by the FMA (NZ), ASIC (AU), FCA (UK), CFTC/SEC (US) or any EU regulator, and you have no investor-compensation protection. Operated from New Zealand.

The questions people actually arrive with, answered plainly. Each one opens the full explanation.
What will fail me?
Usually a loss limit, not a bad trade. The daily limit ends more evaluations than anything else, and it applies to ordinary intraday movement — not just a losing streak.
Read the full answer →Why does my loss limit keep moving?
Because some firms trail it. A trailing limit follows your account upward as you gain, so a run of profit followed by a give-back can end an evaluation while you are still ahead of where you started.
Read the full answer →Do they actually pay?
Payment is a contractual entitlement under a written agreement, subject to conditions that are worth reading before you pay rather than after. These are the documented reasons a request gets refused or held.
Read the full answer →Is any of this real money?
The account is simulated, at both stages. What you hold is a contractual share of simulated performance, paid by the firm — not the firm's own capital placed under your control.
Read the full answer →Am I allowed to trade how I trade?
Not always. News trading, automated systems, copy trading and holding over a weekend are each restricted differently by each firm, and the rules are enforced after the fact on review.
Read the full answer →What does it really cost?
Rarely just the advertised price. Resets after a breach, monthly charges and a separate activation charge at the funded stage all sit outside the headline figure.

Pick the account size you want evaluated. The table below narrows to the offers at that size, and the “lowest / highest tracked” marks are recalculated over exactly what is shown — they always describe the offers in front of you, never a wider set.

How to read these figures
The headline fee is the least useful number on the page. What decides whether an evaluation is passable is the relationship between the profit target — how much you must make — and the loss limits — how much you may lose while making it.
The limit that ends most evaluations
The maximum daily loss caps how far the account may fall within a single trading day. It is breached far more often than the overall limit, because it applies to ordinary intraday drawdown, not just a bad run. A low-fee challenge with a 3% daily limit can be considerably harder than a dearer one with 5%.
Static versus trailing
A static maximum loss is measured from your starting balance and stays put. A trailing drawdown follows your account's high-water mark upward, so profit raises the floor beneath you. At the same headline percentage, trailing is materially harder.
Referral codes, where a firm publishes one
Some firms publish a code that reduces the evaluation fee for a referred trader. Where one exists, the fee column shows the published price, what the code makes it, and the date we last confirmed the code on the firm's own page. A code is a term of the price like any other figure here: it is read from source, dated, and recorded in the change ledger when it moves. We may earn a commission if you use one — which is why the code sits beside the date we checked it, so the claim can be judged rather than taken on trust. A code we cannot date is not shown at all.
What the profit split actually buys
The split applies after you pass, on profits made on the firm's simulated capital, paid on its payout cycle. A 90% split on a weekly cycle and a 90% split on a monthly cycle are different products. Neither is an investment return; both are contractual and depend on the firm honouring them.

Common questions
What is a prop firm challenge?
A paid evaluation on a simulated trading account. You pay a one-off fee, then trade to a profit target without breaching the loss limits. Pass, and the firm offers a contract to trade its simulated capital and share a percentage of any profit. The fee buys the evaluation, not capital.
Do you get real money if you pass?
You get a contractual share of profits made on the firm's own account, paid on the firm's payout cycle and subject to its rules. That is a commercial agreement with the firm, not an investment return, and it depends on the firm remaining solvent and honouring it.
What is the difference between a 1-step and a 2-step challenge?
A 1-step challenge has a single profit target. A 2-step adds a second, usually smaller, target that must be met after the first is passed. Two-step evaluations often carry a lower fee and a lower first-stage target, but take longer to clear.
What does maximum daily loss mean?
The most your account may fall within one trading day, usually measured from the day's starting balance or equity, before the account is closed. It is the limit that ends most evaluations, and it matters more than the headline fee: a tight daily limit leaves little room for normal drawdown.
What is the difference between static and trailing drawdown?
A static maximum loss is measured from your starting balance and does not move. A trailing drawdown follows your account's high-water mark upward, so the more you profit, the higher your loss floor rises. Trailing is materially harder to trade under at the same headline percentage.
Are prop firm challenges regulated?
Generally not. The firms listed here are not authorised or supervised by the FMA (New Zealand), ASIC (Australia), the FCA (United Kingdom), the CFTC or SEC (United States), or EU regulators, and no investor-compensation scheme stands behind them. Several regulators have issued consumer warnings about the sector.
How often do these terms change?
Frequently. Fees move with promotions, and rules are revised without notice. Every figure on this site carries the date it was captured, and the change ledger records what moved and when.
About this comparison
Every number here is read from at least two independent public sources — the firm's own published terms and an independent aggregator — and cross-checked. Where they disagree on a key figure the firm's own page wins and the disagreement is logged; where there is no clear answer the entry is frozen rather than guessed. Rankings are arithmetic over the tracked set. We publish no overall score, because a single composite number reads as a verdict rather than a fact.
